Custom crowns require two dental visits. At the first visit, after diagnosis, we’ll prepare your tooth and take an impression for the dental lab. While your restoration is being created, you’ll wear a temporary. Usually, patients have no issue with a temporary crown. However, if yours cracks, breaks, or comes off, simply call our Darlington, SC office for assistance. When your permanent crown arrives, Dr. Perry will secure it with dental adhesive. He’ll then assess your occlusion to make sure the new crown fits well when you bite.
